With another marvelous thesis day under our belts, we set out for Sydney's zoo. Traveling by ferry, we left Sydney Harbor for the zoo, anxiously hoping we could cuddle koala bears. As we found out, koalas were available for pictures, but we were 15 minutes too late. You couldn't touch them, but that would have been an epic experience nonetheless. We saw elephants, giraffes, Tasmanian Devils, koalas, wallabies, pythons, vipers, birds of all kinds, gorillas, chimps, and everything in between. I don't think I'd put it on the same experience level as the Unzoo from Tasmania, but the variety of animals was much more diverse.

From what some of our group heard, a bar called The Sheaf in Double Bay was the place to go, so we did just that. This place was crazy. People 18-30 crammed into a massive courtyard bar that transitioned into a dance club as you ventured further and further. We had fun, especially when drinks were A$5 before 11:00.
