We started our day with church at C3: a non-denominational church similar to Auburn Community Church back home. The experience was great, and apparently the locals thought so too. The pastor announced the Alabamians in the room, which received several "oohs" and "ahhs," and we talked with several people who were interested in who we were and what we were up to halfway across the globe. We learned about what to do in the city, and found that the people here were just as kind and caring as we had experienced throughout the trip. We left, returned, ate, and set out for The Museum of Brisbane and The Queensland Museum, which were full of art, fossils, native plants and animals, and the history of the area and its' people. This city was beautiful when we first walked it, but the smaller size compared to Melbourne and Sydney continues to make it a more impressionable city with each day and experience.
