Tuesday began with calls to the bank and the Brisbane's City Council to sort out what my options were for cancelling cards, finding my wallet, etc. No one had used my cards yet, and cancelling them would result in me having no way to access my funds, so I held off with fingers crossed more than they had ever been. The agony of not having a wallet was subdued and eased by the best thesis day we've had yet. Never thought I'd say that, but the feeling of effective productivity is something few things in life can rival. We worked until around 4, and we set out for a rugby match of 10s. The sport is an interesting one, and one that seems to be the roughest sport I've viewed. In Rugby Union, teams drive the ball down the field until they either score or turn the ball over. This concept is different than Rugby League (which has 6 possessions before a turnover), and results in a rather free-lanced, fast-paced game with a lot of hard hitting. No pads, no helmets, just pain. We enjoyed the cultural experience thoroughly, and ended our relaxed day on a good note with a little more thesis and an early bedtime.
