Day 38: (Temporary) Farewell to Australia

With checkout at 10:00 AM, we packed our lives into suitcases (again), ate an amazing breakfast, and left for the airport where we would wait for our 2:40 flight. The idea of working on thesis slowly faded as wifi speeds crept along and power outlets were all but possible to come by. We flew to Brisbane, and settled into our temporary abode (the airport) for the next 17 or so hours until our 8:00 morning flight to New Zealand. Today turned from thesis production to video production to pure laziness. Fast internet is something that I have taken for granted more than anything; as it's either fast and limited bandwidth, or unlimited but slower than dial-up... Eventually, I scoured the airport for the perfect sleep spot, and found it in a large booth at a coffee shop.
