Day 49: Farewell to New Zealand

Saying goodbye to the most beautiful place I've ever encountered was not easy, and signaled the downhill of our trip. We return to Sydney for five days until heading home on March 9th. We arrived at Sydney, and found our accommodation downtown by the Barangaroo development. Our room overlooked the all-wood structure we had toured during our first stay in Sydney, and the location was prime. A short walk from Darling Harbor, restaurants and cafes are every 500 feet, bus stops are virtually at our doorstep, and the train station is directly under us. If only we had stayed here during our first stint in Sydney... We relaxed, settled in, and prepared for the most relaxed week of the trip.
